LINC Leader

My name is Cosmas Nyirenda. I'm the Senior Pastor of New Life Christian Centre a church based in Ndola, Zambia. Our church falls under the umbrella of New Life Ministries International with Bishop Nelly Chikwanda as our Overseer. My vision is to develop strong leadership for our church through discipleship and training, a leadership that will help in meeting the needs of our community and ministry. Our church is located in the town centre of Ndola, where so many street children and homeless people are found. As a church we have so far attended to many orphaned kids and a good number of them have been helped with education from foundation upto university level. Others have so far gotten employed in various jobs. Many widows have equally been empowered with some skills and business opportunities and that has helped alleviate suffering in some families. To enhance and grow the influence of the church in our community, we have need to train and develop more leaders as we impart this vision to the leaders being developed. I believe that we can change and transform the community where we live through knowledge and awareness of the needs our community faces. To do this, we need a team of working and knowledgeable people. Discipleship and leadership development will help us achieve this goal.
