Am Emily Chiumia, I stay in Lilongwe, am married to Pastor Isaac. I have five children, and two grandchildren My passion in the community i stay is on women who face financial and marital challenges, these problems lead them to suffer psychologically, emotionally as well as economically. Most of them are single mothers.This brings a lot of stresses and depression on their lives and yet economically are already struggling. As a result these women fail to take care of their children and kids end up going into the streets begging for food, dropping out from school and some are engaged in robbery acts. Therefore this is my desire and my vision of coming up with programs such as social economic programs and counselling programs, to empower them economically, socially as well as emotionally,that they can stand and assist their homes and children on their own.
