LINC Leader

My name is Ethel Mhindurwa Mutsigwa from Mvurwi in the district of Mazowe in Zimbabwe. I am a married woman with 5 children and 4 grand children. I am a farmer, Emit facilitator founder and cordinator for Mudzimai Wanhasi(today's woman) counselor and peer educator. My heart bleeds for my fellow women,the vulnerable and under people living with disabilities in my community. I was motivated to start Mudzimai Wanhasi to help other women start self help and life sustaining projects like soap and detergent making, baking and cooking, sewing, crafts,baking,and selling. I personally donated the first kits for the projects. With the women we buy foodstuffs for our own consumption and household gadgets. Together with the club members we identify the needy in our community and donate whatever we will have put together. We give out things like foodstuffs, blankets,clothing,sanitary wear and wheelchairs. Because we come from the farming community, there are so many vulnerable people than we are not able to help them all. My wish is to make a positive change to the people in my community and easier for those living with disabilities.
